Beginning Sunday, January 7th, Lower Brandywine will offer an exciting new Adult Education Class at 10:30 AM, ideal for those who worship at 9 AM. Youth of high-school age and above are also invited. The Wired Word will feature discussion of a breaking news story -- or contemporary cultural issue -- from a biblical perspective. And, the topic will be different every Sunday. You will not "get behind" if you miss a week! The class will meet in the social hall and Mimi Lovelace will serve as the convener. Please contact the church office via e-mail or phone 302-658-2326 to be added to the list!
Yes! I'd love to join the
discussion group - Sign me up today! Come be a part of Lower Brandywine's exciting Sunday School Program for ALL ages! Our children's program is Bible-based, hands-on and lots of fun. All classes focus on a particular Bible lesson or piece of scripture which is reinforced by a game, craft and snack! Our children leave on Sunday mornings knowing that they are special and loved by God. We also offer two adult Sunday School classes as well as a contemporary adult discussion group and a youth program. Both meet on Sunday mornings as well. Our youth curriculum is also Bible-based and engaging. There are activities and events for them to participate and we strive to help our youth maintain a love of Christ while facing the tough contemporary issues of the day. Our adult classes offer a little something for everyone. One of the classes is a Bible study taking the time share God's word. The other class is a topical class, usually focusing on a particular or topic. Both are loaded with lively discussion and fellowship. The 10:30 Adult Discussion, "The Wired Word" sparks a contemporary discussion based on current events.
Our Sunday morning schedule is a follows
