Lower Brandywine has a vibrant, multi-faceted music program that currently includes about sixty volunteers.

Under the direction of Donna Beech, the Senior Choir for adults and high school students, sings anthems from Renaissance through Contemporary styles (1600's to 2000) at the 10:30 a.m. worship service.  They also perform one or two large choral works yearly as well as get together with another church choir one or twice annually.

Our Junior Choir currently includes boys and girls from grades 1 through 8. They sing anthems during the service once a month and during the Christmas and Easter seasons.  They also work on one or two short musicals yearly.  Last year's group was large enough to split into two age-appropriate groups.

Our Handbell Choir under the direction of Joan Wysham, performs a handbell prelude approximately every other month and accompanies occasional choir anthems.

Our Folk Group under the direction of Phil Calabrese, includes teen and adult singers and instrumentalists.  They provide music for the 9:00 a.m. Contemporary Worship Service.

Summer worship services provide opportunities for soloists and small ensembles, since the three choirs do not rehearse in June, July and August.

New members are always welcome!
