A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our recent events with The Garage! From making fleece blankets with the students to enjoying their lively folk dance performance at the Kennett Creamery’s Hispanic Heritage Festival, your support helped make both experiences meaningful and memorable.

The blankets created will be gifted by The Garage students to residents of a nearby nursing home—a beautiful reminder of how small acts of kindness ripple outward.

In Jesus' name, we reach out into our community to serve those in need.

With guidance from the SERVE/Missions Committee, we’re excited to continue our partnership with The Garage in Kennett Square, supporting middle and high school students with meals, encouragement, and academic help.

For the 2024–25 school year, we’ll again provide a meal on the 2nd Monday of each month—but this year, we’re also adding an afternoon of volunteering alongside the students. When LBPC provides the meal, Garage staff are freed up for valuable one-on-one time with students. And with Mondays now focused on academics, our extra hands will be a big help in keeping students on track with homework.

Want to get involved?
A carpool leaves LBPC each 2nd Monday at 2:30 pm and returns by 6:00 pm. Feel free to invite friends who may want to join this meaningful ministry.
