The Christmas Shoppe at The Garage
This year LBPC opened a Christmas Shoppe at The Garage so students could spend the prop "money" they've earned with good grades and getting caught doing good things. Thanks to all those who provided new and like new items for students to purchase to give as Christmas gifts to friends and family. We appreciate all those who were able to work at the Shoppe!
In Jesus' name, we reach out into our community to serve those in need.
With the leadership of the SERVE/Missions committee, we continue our partnership with The Garage in Kennett Square as they provide opportunities and support to middle school and high school students.
This year we’ll be continuing our commitment to providing a meal once a month for staff and students on the 2nd Monday of the month. But new for the 24-25 school year, is a commitment to volunteering on that afternoon as well. When LBPC serves the meal, the staff is freed up for valuable one-on-one contact with students and with The Garage’s emphasis on academics on Mondays this year, they are very appreciative of the extra help we’ll provide to sit with students and help them stay focused on homework.
